BuildAhead (Pty) Ltd is an AI-powered digital product studio based in Cape Town, South Africa. We are the responsible party for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@buildahead.company.

• Contact and enquiry details — your name, email address, company, phone number and the message you send us through the contact form, chat assistant or WhatsApp.
• Lead magnet responses — the answers you give in the AI Readiness Score quiz, the website URL you submit for a free audit, and the email address you give so we can send the results.
• Newsletter subscriptions — your email address and the source of the sign-up.
• Technical information — browser user agent and a one-way hashed version of your IP address, used for abuse prevention and basic analytics. We do not store your raw IP address.

• To reply to your enquiry and provide the service or quote you asked for.
• To generate and email the reports you request, such as the AI Readiness Score report.
• To follow up on qualified business enquiries and manage the relationship in our internal CRM.
• To send you updates you have subscribed to, and to keep the site secure and working properly.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

We use trusted service providers to run the website and send email — including our cloud hosting and database provider, and our transactional email provider. They process data only on our instructions and under confidentiality obligations. Some of these providers store data outside South Africa; where that happens we rely on providers that offer a comparable level of protection to POPIA.

Enquiries and prospect records are kept for as long as there is a live or reasonably expected business relationship, and for up to 36 months after the last interaction, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@buildahead.company. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

We keep cookies to the minimum needed to run the site and to keep signed-in team members authenticated. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data is stored in access-controlled databases with row-level security, encrypted in transit, and only reachable by authenticated BuildAhead team members. We review access and dependencies regularly.

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly.
